Are you feeling lucky? This month is supposed to be lucky, right?
I confess I have, in fact, felt very lucky this last month. Some days have been a real struggle with self-doubt and imposter syndrome, but I am incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing support system. I have the most wonderful family and friends who have been there through the writing/publishing journey. I could not have done any of this without them.
So thank you, to everyone who has offered me words of encouragement, purchased my books, or just taken a moment to like my ridiculous posts. You are amazing. You are appreciated.
February was a busy one for me. On the last day of the month, I released my 6th book! Pinch me (I’m not wearing green 😉 ) How did I just release my 6TH BOOK??? It’s still seems so crazy to me. I love writing and publishing more than I ever thought I could. I’ve never been high, but I kinda feel like the experience might be similar XD

Anyways, check out my newest release! Love & Magic (Book 2: Children of Magic Series) is now available in Hardback, Paperback, eBook, & Audio!
Feya is a witch. Strauth despises magic. When she saves his life, things start to change. There’s just one problem—he’s hired an assassin to kill her.
Now for the progress report (HUMONGOUS SIGH)
Those who follow me know that I have repeatedly stated the Book 6 in the Chronicles of Virgám series has been the bane of my existence for months. I still don’t know why I’m struggling with it so much, BUT I am making some progress. Finally! Currently, it sits at 69k words (the goal is 90k). So, I’m on the home stretch with it. My goal is to have it drafted by the end of the month. I’m determined to get this bad boy done if its the last thing I ever do (hopefully not, though XD)
Once I’ve completed Book 6, I plan to move on with Book 3 of the Children of Magic series. I’ve still got some major I’m-trying-to-outline-even-though-I-never-stick-to-them to do, but I’m hoping to have it drafted before summer.
Book 5 of Chronicles is set to release in May. I have one last round of edits to finish and it will be ready, and of course, a bit of finalizing to do on the cover. Which I’m pretty stocked about because um…giant snake?! Yes.
I spent February finishing the first draft of my Time Travel Romance, which now has a name (In Time with the Duke). I’ll be editing it this month and (hopefully) sending it off to a few more beta readers. With any luck, I’ll be in the query trenches come end of April/early May, but we’ll see.
I haven’t smashed all my goals but word count has been busted like a pinata. I’m almost to 100k for the year so far of my 350k goal. Whoohoo!
All in all, I think February proved pretty productive. Here’s to another month of hard work. Stay lucky, my friends.
