Happy fall! It’s hard to believe it’s already here! I generally prefer warmer weather, but have no quarrels with a cold day, a cup of hot chocolate, and good book…and preferably not my own that I’ve ready a billion times. I’m looking forward to reading more this winter (at least that’s what I tell myself. Getting caught up on editing remains my top priority.) Do you have a TBR pile for the upcoming winter months? I suppose we should get to the update part of this update. September was a VERY busy month and I did not achieve half the goals I set, but that’s all right. I’m moving forward, a little slower than I’d like, but hey, forward is better than backwards.

AUDIOBOOK!

That’s right. I’m planning to release my first audiobook. Although, when is very much up in there air. It’s a completely new process for me, so I don’t have a clue what to expect, but I’ll keep ya posted, as always.

I spent a ton of time in September revising The Witch of Selvenor, and I’m pleased to announce it is now complete…again. Everything I’ve learned the past year went into revising the manuscript and the cover has received a face lift as well. There will always be room for improvement, but I’m proud of how far my writing has come.

Books 2 & 3 are getting a revision as well. Currently, I’m about 1/3 of the way through 2, and the new covers for both are ready. I’ve also been working on the covers for books 4 and 5. Those manuscripts will need one final read through and then they’ll be ready for publication! Expect more news on that soon (I hope 😉 )

What are the goals for this month? First, I want to finish the revision of Book 2 and update everything on Amazon. I also really really really need to work on Book 6. I had hoped to make some headway last month but it just didn’t happen. You see, I have this character flaw where I struggle to move on with something before fixing what I’ve already done (that’s one reason why playing an instrument was difficult for me. I couldn’t just “keep going.” I HAD to fix the wrong notes first.) So, I’m going to try to do both this month, but it will definitely take a lot more time to write this one because of it. If I crack down and get to work, I may have the first draft complete this month. As it sits, I’m ALMOST halfway finished with it.

I’ve also been busy revamping the website a bit. There is still a lot of work to be done here, but as I get new covers and blurbs completed, I’ll be updating everything. I’ve added a deleted scene page for The Chronicles of Virgám. Only 2 of 5 scenes are there so far, but I plan to have the rest up this month. If you haven’t checked them out, you can find them here.
