Zynnera, a thief caught stealing food, is determined to help her people. After escaping from the palace dungeon with the former prince, she sets out to find the rebel camp…assuming it still exists. Together they forge a plan to defeat the wicked queen, but the longer Zynnera is away from home, the harder it is to hide her secret.

Will revealing the truth cost Zynnera everything she’s come to love, or will her secret be the key to saving Anaros from his curse and their people from the witch’s wrath?

Stepping into his new role as king has Anaros on edge, and Zynnera’s nightmares are doing little to ease his concerns. While she struggles to find acceptance from her people, Zynnera must also battle the images of murder plaguing her mind—not to mention her growing affection for the new king.

In a last effort to combat her visions, Zynnera and Anaros travel to the kingdom of Dunivear. Deep in the forest of Arnfell exists an entire village of witches and warlocks who understand Zynnera’s powers. But whether the people there are friendly is another thing entirely.

Now that she’s found people like her, Zynnera must choose whether to return to her life in Selvenor or give up the man she loves. Will her choice give Anaros the opportunity to propose, or will Zynnera find herself in the clutches of a murderer?

Meeting with other diplomats is part of Anaros’s duties. Being betrothed to a witch complicates the task. A new alliance agreement threatens to mark Selvenor as the enemy, but Anaros refuses to back down.

Zynnera’s mind fills with images of the past, giving her insight into the origins of magic. When they begin to take a physical toll on her, Anaros becomes determined to stop them—even if it means angering the woman he loves. Through visions, Zynnera learns the identity of the Great Sorcerer and about the events that lead to his dark plans.

A visit from a ghostly friend prompts Anaros and Zynnera to travel to Verascene. But getting to the island proves difficult when no sailor wants to face the treacherous waters that surround it. An old acquaintance agrees to assist them, but Zynnera isn’t certain Selvenor’s former general can be trusted.

After a terrifying encounter with the people of Verascene, the age-old prophecy is revealed. Zynnera trains to develop her powers as an Elementalist and faces the followers of Morzaun to stop their threat against the island city.

With new information about their destinies, Zynnera and Anaros prepare to face the darkness. Will they make it home to Selvenor safely or will betrayal put an end to their lives?

Terror waits in the shadows of Aknar. 

Impending darkness looms over Selvenor while a creature of myth invades Zynnera’s dreams. Convinced to search for the stone of Váates, she and Anaros set out to visit Vander. 

With the help of Zynnera’s cousin, the trio travels towards the mountains of Aknar to find the secret tunnel that will lead them to the stone. There’s just one problem—the relic is guarded by the very beast that plagues Zynnera’s mind.

Navigating the dark tunnel and the challenges that lay within, the three come face to face with strange creatures and old enemies. Will they retrieve the item necessary for stopping the dark sorcerer or will they die in the lair of a fiery serpent?

The jungle holds many secrets.

Zynnera finally has the tools she needs to go after The Irrilam, but the sorcerer, Morzaun, also has his eye on the dark spellbook and knows it’s his only chance to reclaim his magic. Torn between leaving the book in its hiding place or destroying it, Zynnera focuses on life at the palace rather than making a decision. But when Morzaun threatens her betrothed’s life, seeking The Irrilám becomes her only choice. 

Zynnera and Anaros soon discover that deciphering the book’s location is only the first of their obstacles, as it is guarded by more than just magic. Meanwhile, Morzaun’s followers are hot on their trail and ready to fight for the one thing that will ensure their rise to power.

When their pursuit of The Irrilam turns perilous, Anaros and Zynnera must decide whether to risk their lives to keep the book of spells from Morzaun’s grasp or allow the entire land of Virgamor to fall into darkness.

The dark sorcerer, Morzaun, has reclaimed his power and all of Virgamor is at risk. 

Zynnera is haunted by a vision foretelling Anaros’s death, and harnessing her ability as a Protesta, Seer, and Elementalist may not be enough to save him. Desperate to change the future, she ends her engagement to deter Morzaun from using Anaros as a pawn in his game.

Determined to bring Morzaun’s threat against Virgamor to an end, Zynnera resolves to search for the only weapon capable of standing against him—the Virgám, the source of all human magic. 

But the sorcerer has plans of his own, and soon, Zynnera’s vision approaches reality. When Anaros is taken captive, Zynnera must choose between saving his life or handing Morzaun the weapon of ultimate power.

The final battle against the darkness begins.
